OUR VISION FOR THIS ROLE:
The JUMP! Foundation seeks a visionary and results-driven Chief People Officer (CPO) to join our Executive Management Team. The CPO will oversee all aspects of our human resources function, including talent acquisition, employee retention, organizational development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The CPO will lead and mentor a team of regional HR managers, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also collaborate with other departments to support the design and implementation of organizational development programs and will be responsible for developing and implementing HR best practices to improve employee engagement, performance, and satisfaction.
In addition, the CPO will be responsible for strategic planning related to the growth and expansion of our organization. This includes developing and implementing strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational culture, as well as partnering with other members of the Management Team to create and execute strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate accurately with our multicultural and international employee base. They will be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and contribute to the stable expansion of a dedicated team of professionals.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Chief People Officer will have expert competence and experience across a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive human resources strategy to support the growth and
expansion of the organization. - Directing and managing the HR team to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures and
developing HR best practices to improve employee engagement, performance, and satisfaction. - Leading the design and implementation of organizational development programs to support employee
growth and development. - Overseeing talent acquisition, employee retention, compensation and benefits, diversity, equity, and
inclusion efforts to attract and retain top talent. - Developing and implementing systems to continuously monitor and evaluate HR programs and initiatives.
- Supporting the management, mentorship, and professional development of all JUMP! Foundation
employees. - Contributing to the long-term organizational vision and strategic plan of the JUMP! Foundation through
engaged participation on the Senior Management Team. - Directing and managing the HR team to support the organization's growth in new regions and
partnerships. - Leading, developing, and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure local laws and regulations
compliance. - Collaborating with other members of the Management Team to develop and execute strategic growth
initiatives. - Providing leadership, mentorship, and coaching to the HR team to ensure effective partnership + program
management in all regions.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALITIES:
- 10+ years of management experience, preferably in a people-focused role.
- 10+ years of work experience in HR, talent management, or organizational development, with a focus on
employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion. - Experience managing risk related to HR policies and practices.
- Experience developing and implementing programs and initiatives related to talent acquisition, retention,
and development. - Experience directing and managing high-functioning teams within HR or related functions.
- Proficiency in overseeing and managing budgets related to HR initiatives and programs.
- A passion for creating a positive employee experience and fostering a healthy organizational culture.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with
employees, executives, and external partners. - Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key
stakeholders. - Competency with HR portfolio management, including performance management, compensation and
benefits, and employee relations. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize independently in high-intensity situations.
- Great attention to detail and is extremely organized.
- The ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and take the initiative to implement
change. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-starter who welcomes personal and professional development.
PREFERRED PROFILE:
- Prior experience living and working abroad in multicultural contexts.
- Familiarity and experience working with international teams and cultures.
- Extensive experience facilitating training and development programs for employees.
- Additional experience in employer branding, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and/or corporate
social responsibility.

CHILD SAFEGUARDING

- Signing a personal declaration stating any criminal convictions, including spent convictions.

JUMP! Connected:
World-class innovative virtual educational experiences take place through Zoom and engage students in interactive activities to explore leadership, community connections and Global Citizenship in a virtual environment.
JUMP! Schools:
High-impact programs take place on a school campus. JUMP! Schools programs are typically 2-5 days in length and explore leadership training, facilitation training, design thinking, and global citizenship education.
JUMP! Experiences:
Off-campus programs take students out of the classroom and into the field. Programs are typically 1-2 weeks long and take students out of their comfort zone, be it hiking in the Himalayas, or exploring history and culture in Indonesia.
JUMP! Impact:
Through the JUMP! Impact Fund, JUMP! partners with local NGOs to implement social innovation programs where under-resourced youths receive training, design Impact Projects for their communities, and implement their projects with seed funding and mentorship. To date, JUMP! Impact has served over 3,000 youth in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
